Adding the points and rewards to CMS content

Once you are done entering your data, let your Driftscape representative know. They will enter the data into our CMS for you to save you time.

Now, in the ‘Points’ sheet of the spreadsheet, you will see a newly populated column called ‘Point url’ that you should copy and use in your CMS POI content as you see fit.

You can add a URL link that says, “Collect points”, which directs users to these specific points.

The ‘Rewards’ page has a similar ‘Reward URL’ column you can use, if there is only one reward for this associated POI.

NOTE: the GPS location of the POI in the Driftscape is unrelated to the location of the business in the points program. This is because the physical location where you want users to be to collect points may be different from the POI in Driftscape. If they are the same, you can copy the GPS location from the CMS into the business spreadsheet location (note that the order is lat/lng in the business spreadsheet, not lng/lat).

In the ‘Organization’ tab in the sheet, there are links to the general Points and Rewards pages. 

• Think of these pages as directories that your visitors/app users can refer to if they want a single view of all the points and rewards they can collect at your destination. You may prefer to use these links instead of specific points and rewards in your POIs in the CMS.

• Do not edit or change these links: they have special parameters that are replaced by the mobile app at run time (such as the user’s unique ID, and GPS location).
